Since 2010, Culture Days in Saskatchewan has been supported, coordinated and promoted by SaskCulture, thanks to support from Sask Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation.

To help engage communities in Culture Days, SaskCulture introduced a Culture Days Hub sponsorship opportunity where Culture Days Hubs around the province can apply for sponsorship of up to $5,000. Sponsorships are determined by community size, strength of community partnerships, and the quality and extent of programs/activities offered. (Due to the limited amount of funding, sponsorships may not cover all expected expenses.) Culture Days Hubs are encouraged to bring together different community partners to host cultural activities and distribute funds accordingly.

Applications are evaluated for their ability to work with two or more community partners to offer virtual or safe, small in-person cultural experiences that adhere to public health restrictions at the time of scheduled activities.

There is no deadline for applications; however, applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis until September 1 or until the sponsorship budget is expended – whichever comes first.
