Location

North Hastings, ON

North Hastings joins in this national celebration of Culture by offering free events giving people a hands-on &/or behind-the-scenes experience. Over 40 artists & businesses are inviting you to come play and get a behind the scenes look at the wildly creative community up here.

Participate in a scarecrow build & support Harvest the North's Community Gardens. There will be prizes. Pick up a paint brush & help create a collective art mural (and other offerings) by The Art Gallery of Bancroft. Wander up to the Eagle's Nest to get a great view of the leaves & take a moment to create your own memory pouch. There will be Algonquin Drummers. Wander over to Millennium Park to pick up an instrument and jam - no experience necessary. There will be refreshments.

Getting hungry: Stop by The Muse Cafe & Gallery and get a free taste of Poland before getting onto the Consensus Bus, where you get to decide together where you are going next. As long as you all agree. It’s all about the process.

Could it be a Fish Hatchery tour? Or maybe The Chocolate Harlot will tempt you with organic, fair-trade & decadent truffles, caramels & bars?

Certainly, the many talented artists and artisans on the Bancroft & Area Studio Tour will tempt you too.

Well-being through Culture - come play.
