Incorporated as a not for profit group in 200?, the Bandís current active membership of 26 continue to provide entertainment in the community, performing mainly in the Districts of Muskoka and Parry Sound and particularly for Branch 232, Royal Canadian Legion, Huntsville, Ontario. started to play bagpipes in 1964 at age 12 as a learner piper in the BlackWatch RHR in Montreal. I played for about 12 years. Then there was a long break of 27 years. In around 2003 I started playing again - and have not stopped since. In November of 2018 I joined the Cameron of Locheil Pipes and Drums as my wife and I had relocated to Huntsville after having lived in Ottawa for over 30 years. Hopefully that gives you some idea about me and the pipe band as well.
